TUDOR is excited to be the official timing partner of championship-winning Swiss team Alinghi Red Bull Racing. Founded in 1994, the team is comprised entirely of Swiss sailors. Alinghi became the first European team to win the America’s Cup in 2003, and this year they will take on the defending champions to bring home the world’s oldest sporting trophy. To celebrate its partnership with Alinghi Red Bull Racing, TUDOR has created two Pelagos FXD models: a chronograph and a time-only watch. The Pelagos FXD “Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition” models come with several firsts that go beyond just watches. The long-term partnership between TUDOR and Alinghi Red Bull Racing was launched in 2022, when TUDOR first entered the world of competitive yacht racing. In this age-old sport, victory is achieved by combining determined courage and the human spirit with cutting-edge technology. The watches were born from this philosophy and are crafted by combining high-tech carbon composite material with titanium and stainless steel, a first for TUDOR, just like an AC75 (America's Cup 75) hydrofoil racing yacht. It is also the first time TUDOR has integrated a chronograph Caliber into a fixed strap bar case.
