During a TUDOR service, your watch’s movement is given a general overhaul to ensure its performance is up to original specifications. You may also want to have the case and bracelet cleaned and refinished to restore their shine. ANALYSIS

Before any maintenance is carried out, a detailed diagnostic inspection is carried out. One of our highly qualified watchmakers from the extensive TUDOR Service Centre network will examine the case, bracelet and movement of your watch to determine which service procedures are required. MECHANISM
CARE

Once the bill is accepted, the watchmaker begins disassembly. The bracelet of your watch is separated from the case. The case is then opened and the mechanism is removed. The case is completely disassembled.

CLEANING AND REPLACING WORN PARTS

The mechanism is also disassembled and every part is meticulously cleaned ultrasonically. The parts of the mechanism are meticulously examined and any worn or damaged parts are replaced with genuine TUDOR spare parts.

LUBRICATION AND ASSEMBLY OF THE MECHANISM

The mechanism is reassembled and its components are carefully oiled to minimise friction and wear. This procedure ensures that your watch continues to function optimally and with precision.

CALIBRATION

The precision of your watch is ensured by the balance wheel, which oscillates 690,000 times a day. To ensure its accuracy, a meticulous calibration is performed and then verified electronically. This is followed by a series of rigorous technical tests over several days to ensure that the mechanism functions properly.

OPTIONAL
FINISHING SERVICE

In conjunction with the Full Care, TUDOR also offers optional case and bracelet refinishing (if applicable). This includes careful polishing, satin finishing and ultrasonic cleaning to restore the original shine.

The maintenance of your watch case and bracelet is carried out in the same quality standards as the maintenance of the movement. After a careful cleaning, the case and bracelet are meticulously examined. Any worn or damaged components are replaced with genuine TUDOR spare parts.

THE CASE
REASSEMBLY

Once the maintenance is complete, your watch case will be reassembled and all seals will be replaced to ensure water resistance.

WATERPROOF TESTS

The watch case is subjected to rigorous testing to ensure it meets water resistance requirements. It undergoes two separate tests in water: a vacuum test and a pressure test, followed by an additional moisture detection test that can detect even the smallest amount of moisture inside the case.

FINAL
QUALITY CONTROL

Rigorous quality controls are carried out at every stage of the maintenance process. During the final quality control, the power reserve, time precision and aesthetic appearance of your watch are checked again to ensure that your TUDOR watch meets the highest quality standards. This maintenance must be carried out by an Official Rolex or TUDOR Service Centre. The network of authorised sales points is spread over five continents and each TUDOR watchmaker has undergone rigorous training to provide you with the highest quality service.

FIVE-YEAR SERVICE WARRANTY

After a general overhaul, your TUDOR watch is covered by a five-year Service Warranty, regardless of whether the case and bracelet finish is selected or not. This warranty does not include damage or deterioration resulting from accidents or misuse of the watch. Any intervention by a third party not authorized by TUDOR or the addition of non-TUDOR parts or accessories to the watch will void the Service Warranty.
